Create Your Future Through Visualization

 

The best way to predict your future is to create it. All high-achieving men and women take full control of their lives, and if they don't find the opportunities they want , they create them.

Success is not an accident. It is a deliberate, systematic process of deciding where you want to go and what it will look like when you get there. You then have to follow your plan and take the necessary steps to make your goals become a reality.

Successful people are those who continually think about pictures and images of the people they would like to be, and the lives they would like to lead. Unsuccessful people, unfortunately, are those who continually, dwell upon their problems and imagine the things they don't want to happen in their lives.

The most powerful tool for success that you can learn how to use, is visualization. Visualization is an amazing process that is used by all successful men and women in virtually every field. And it is a power that we all have. The better you become at visualization the faster you will accomplish your goals and aspirations.

Visualization is the art of being able to see with our mind. Visualization is the creation of mental images sustained and energized by intensely concentrating your focus on a desired goal. The concept is simple: what your mind sees and is truly made to believe becomes your reality.

Visualization activates your peak intelligence and your peak performance. It is an exercise in mentally creating a state, situation, or goal that you want to physically manifest in your life. Your imagination is a very powerful tool to help your achieve what you want in life. And you probably have used visualization many times during your life in one way or another without even realizing it.

For example, think about the enormous amount of time you've probably wasted in your life worrying about things that never happen, such as, imagining potential accidents or negative reactions from other people. How often have you replayed heated conversations or painful events over and over in your mind? Every time you do these things, you are using visualization.

One of the most important things to realize, is that for visualizton to be effective you must use all of your senses. So when you practice visualization, you imagine not only how something looks but also how it feels, sounds, smells, and tastes. The more sensory input you have, the richer and stronger your visualiztion will be.

Visualiztion will help you reach your goals faster than anything else you can do. There are certain steps however, you must follow for visualiztion to work for you. First, you should always begin your visualization by imagining the final goal you are seeking. Then you should work backward from your goal and mentally create the sequence of steps that you have to take to achieve that goal. Once you've visualized your goal, and the necessary steps, you can then, put them together and go through the process from beginning to the attainment of your goal.

Here are a few suggestions to help make your visualization more powerful and successful:

1. Always begin your visualization in a relaxed state.

2. See, hear, and feel as much detail as possible.

3. Use all your senses.

4. Maintain control over your imagery.

5. To strengthen the effect of your image, make it brighter, more colorful, closer, larger, louder, and sharper.

6. Enjoy the process.

Visualization is a wonderful power. Visualization is one of the most powerful things you can do on a regular basis to achieve your goals and become the person you want to be. Use this power consciously and continuously to create the kind of future you want for yourself.
